Google Cloud Logging

Centralized log management and analysis for Google Cloud Platform

What is Cloud Logging?

Google Cloud Logging is a fully managed service that allows you to store, search, analyze, monitor, and alert on logging data and events from Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services. It provides real-time log management and analysis, enabling developers and operations teams to gain insights into application behavior, troubleshoot issues, and maintain system health across distributed environments.

As part of Google Cloud's operations suite, Cloud Logging integrates seamlessly with other Google Cloud services, automatically collecting logs from Compute Engine, App Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, and many other services. It supports structured and unstructured logs, provides powerful querying capabilities, and offers flexible retention policies to meet compliance and operational requirements.
